Neighborhood Issues

• Sunflower acts as an incubator for issues arising out of our communities.  We have organized neighbors to take action on a number of issues such as abandoned homes in a block, street lighting, stop signs and  trash piles.  No issue is too small or too big, if it’s important  enough members of the community, its important to us.

Neighborhood Organizing

• Got rid of illegal dumping sites affecting Northeast neighborhoods
• Have worked with the city of Wichita to tear down  over 40 abandoned homes, which has reduced crime and our neighborhoods
